RECESS Thermal Station: Ritual, Resilience & a Custom Tote

At RECESS Thermal Station in Montréal, wellness is re-imagined as a ritual of heat, cold, breath and community. A place where sauna meets ice bath, and immersion gives way to clarity. According to their own words: “Inspired by thermal traditions and supported by modern science, our experiences combine heat, cold and rest in immersive, powerful rituals.” 

To mark this vision, we partnered with RECESS to craft a bespoke tote that echoes their ethos. Constructed in our Montréal studio, from 12-oz heavyweight cotton for durability and texture, each tote features a silkscreen-printed graphic that references RECESS’s aesthetic of elemental contrast. Custom matching straps complete the design, making the bag as functional as it is symbolic of RECESS’s fusion of sweat and serenity
